BIOGRAPHY

Katherine was born in Chisinau, Moldova, in 1983. As a child, she always loved to stay and sketch in her copybooks instead of doing her original homework. Later, she studied and got her degree in fine arts and design.

 

In 2005, she got married and moved to Atlanta, Ga, where she began her career as an artist, working in the design field.

In 2013, Katherine had her very first Art Show at Anthony Gallery, Cumming, Ga., succesfully selling for the very first time.

​

In 2013-2014, she participated in various art fairs, where her art was gaining popularity and recognition, through sales and demand. 

​

In 2014, Katherine began to teach in a private school and continue to teach till present time, leading the program as a Fine Arts Director at Promise Preparatory Academy.

 

Katherine Crouse explores the elegance of still life through her vivid compositions. Her portfolio prominently features realistic depictions of fruit,  florals and landscape, capturing the richness and texture of everyday objects. Each piece demonstrates a keen eye for detail, transforming familiar subjects into captivating artwork. The interplay of light and shadow in her paintings adds depth and a sense of realism. Katherine's work invites viewers to appreciate the beauty in simplicity.  Her art is a celebration of the natural world's harmony and elegance.
